I went to Penn State (go Nittany Lions!) and USC for my BSEE and MSEE. After graduating, I worked at International Rectifier in El Segundo, CA for five years on power electronics and especially IGBTs. In 1995, as we say "I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could!" I moved to Dallas with my wife to work at TI. In 1996, a few colleagues and I started developing class-D amplifiers, and it's been a wild ride since then! From humble beginnings, we now have over 100 audio amplifiers in our porfolio - I hope we have one that fits your application.
I love working on audio, but don't consider myself an expert or "audiophile."
Outside of work, I enjoy scuba diving, spending time with our pit bulls, volunteering with www.MARK-9.org K-9 Search and Rescue (and Ali, the pit bull searcher), and working on my "spread" (we have 18 acres north of Dallas).
