Does anyone know if the MSP430F5438 will include the USB module when revision A is released for 25MHz?

The F55xx family, including the MSP430F5529, include the USB module.  The kinds of peripherals on the F5438A will be the same same as the F5438(non-A).

Hi Adrian,

will TI provide Software-Support (i.e. driver for PC and HAL-driver for the MSP430) for this device once released?

Kind regards

Did you try slac227d? The UserExperienceDemo comes  with a hal_usb driver.
Check it out.

mr.  buster, yep. even though the F5529 hasn't fully released, TI already released some of the USB stacks, PC drivers and development software to get USB working.  you can find it on the MSP430F5529 product folder.  we actually just released some cool code generation tools and firmware loaders that work over the USB-BSL.  check it out and let us know what you think.

Hi adrian,

thanks for the hint! The information provided so far is very good. I think integrating USB connectivity to my design will be easier when using the F5529 instead of an TUSB3410 (connected to one MSP430 UART). Do you have any information on the schedule for the device? Any info on the price for MSP-TS430PN80USB?

Rgds
