Hi,

What does the PM_MASTER, PM_RECIVER, POWERPM_MASTER, POWERPM_RECEIVER, ONNOFF terms means in the TRM. Iam configuring the TPS65950 chip as Master mode in my schematics, but the registers mentione under these Instance are having same address. How does we can differentiate these terms.

Is there any setting avaiable for this to access or set?

Thanks in advance

Regards,

Hi,

The registers are differentiated based on the function and internal blocks. If you refer figure 5-8 in TPS65950 TRM then you will see that the power management state machine shows two blocks as master and receiver.

Configuring the device in master mode has nothing to do with the way registers are differentiated.

For simplicity you can completely ignore those fields.

Regards,

Gandhar.
