Can the TPS2363 can run at 40W vs the 25W it is rated at. Can our part run at 40W? If not is there another part or a way to configure the surrounding circuitry to meet the 40W need?
It depends on how the additional power is used. Since the +3.3V and the +12V are delivered by external FETs and external sense resistors. We probably just need to change these.
Some PCIE had provision for a separate connector for +12 volts 75W for graphics cards. This is covered on page 23 of the datasheet and used a separate TPS2490.
