In  creating a pre-learned pack, there is fresh.senc which is needed... How can i get a fresh senc ???

1.Currently  i just write bq20z70_1_50_default_ID0100.SENC to the pack  and write the selected chemistry ID in 4B(bqEASY) . Then i export the senc file. Can i  think the senc is fresh??

2. If i export .ROM from golden pack., can i write the .ROM to other packs in 1B(see picture )  instead of writing binary files?

Hi bajybukn,

1. I assume you are refering to step 10 in section 23.2 of SLUA379 app notebook. This method doesn't mention the use of non-standard chemistries. You have figured our the correct way to do it - program the desired chemistry in bqEasy, then save the .senc. file. Most people find it easier to just follow the complete sequence in bqEasy instead of using the procedure in the app notebook.

2. Yes, you can. The .DFI and .ROM are binary files, but contain no instructions, just the complete image of the dataflash.
