I would like to know how interface a MSP430 with a PC through a TUSB3410 without using an EEPROM. Can anybody help me?

Hi,

It is mandatory to use an EEPROM with the TUSB3410 device, since your USB descriptors are burned in the EEPROM. The 3410 device has its default USB descriptors, and for any customer app there must be a unique Vendor ID and Product ID which can be customized and included in a serial EEPROM.

Best,

Ismael
